THE COLCA CANYON, is the deepest in the world, even deeper than the Grand Canyon located in the USA, and is not only visited because of its incredible depth, but because of the colorful dress the legendary Collaguas Indians who live here wear, for the panoramic views and the hot springs that emerge from the earth.
Another grand reason to visit the Colca is the heaviest and largest bird in the world, the Andean Condor, that can weigh up to 11 kilos and we can see it fly in its favorite area, right in front of the deepest parts of the canyon where he enjoys flying directly over our heads, lucky we are not part of his menu.
